Today different technologies are used at VOACK. In the techonlogy with a screen-print-machine we developped a new adhesive application head on which we were granted a patent. This technology is a special and new method especially for the lamination of sensitive membranes and other delicate substrates. The process of a dot-lamination with PU-hotmelt-adhesive is very environmentally-compatible, because neither water nor solvents are used. The cured adhesive can be disposed as domestic waste. Our laminates are used in garments for leisure- and sportswear, in foundation garments, in the shoe- and automobile industry and in the technical, medical and hygienic sector. In 1987 VOACK became a licencee of AKZO NOBEL for the production and the sale of SympaTex - laminates. Laminates with this membrane are waterproof, windproof but breathable. Our main production line is at present the lamination of SympaTex for shoes, sports- and leisure wear, work- and official wear. We are alos producing medical laminates which are used in the operation theatre for garments and trapes and all other purposes like incontinence and skin diseases. VOACK has customers all the world over. Our customers in the German speaking countries, England, Italy Scandianvia, Hong Kong, USA etc. are served by our own people or by agents. Since begin of 2005 we have a Joint Venture in China with an office in Hong Kong, lamination in China starts in July 2005 with our special technology and know how. The purpose of this company with the name MOUNTAIN STAR LTD. is to serve our European customers who are already producing in China and Far East and to sell high quality laminates to the USA and to the coming and growing markets in China and Far East. We are also using the synergy-effects for our mother-company in Austria, which will certainly go on to exist to serve the European customers and the customers in the new member countries of the EU in Eastern Europe. VOACK is member of WKÖ (Wirtschaftskammer Österreichs, chamber of commerce of Austria), of 'Fachverband der Textilindustrie Österreichs' (Organizsation of the Austrian Textile Industry') and 'Österreichische Industriellenvereinigung' (Association of the Austrian Industry). Since March 1997 we are in possession of the Quality Certification according DIN EN ISO 9001. We are audited by the German DEKRA Certification Services.
